15 little ways to be a better partner

  1. Try to accept your partner as they are. (All flaws included)
  2. Appreciate your partner.
  3. When you talk about your relationship, say “we” not I or me.
  4. For everything negative that happens, try to complete 5 positive things for you and your partner.
  5. Give them space.
  6. Take time for yourself, and allow your partner to take time for themselves.
  7. Know that all relationships have ups and downs.
  8. Make physical affection a daily habit.
  9. Play together. (Tickle, be silly…)
  10. Let your guard down. Allow yourself to be vulnerable.
  11. Actually talk.
  12. Fight or argue with a reason, and a goal to resolve the problem.
  13. Remember the little things.
  14. Don’t just tell them you love them, show them.
  15. Remember to be yourself.  That’s who they fell in love with in the first place.
